Camper Information – What to Bring & How to Prepare for Camp
Welcome to Coach Stelma Softball Camps! We’re thrilled you’re joining us for a day of skill development, fun, and growth on the beautiful campus of theUniversity of Maryland, Baltimore County(UMBC) in Maryland. Our goal is to create a positive, high- energy environment where girls from elementary school through high school can improve their game while building confidence and new friendships.
To help you get the most out of your camp experience, we’ve put together this helpful guide on what to bring and how to prepare. Being properly equipped allows every camper to focus on learning from Division I coaches and current college players, soaking up expert instruction, and enjoying the full camp atmosphere in the heart of theMid-Atlanticregion.

Equipment
All players should clearly label their personal equipment in advance of attending the camp with a personal identification. Everyone must bring the following equipment.
- Softball Glove
- Batting Helmet
- Cleats
- Bat
- Turf Shoes / Sneakers
- Face Mask
- Sunglass (if needed for your position)
- Batting Glove
- Other gear as needed for your position
- Elbow, Knee and Shin protection, as needed
- Cap / Visor
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- Protective gear the camper deems necessary
