Camp Parking, Directions & Getting to Coach Stelma Softball Camps
We know traveling with your daughter to a softball camp can feel a little overwhelming, so we’ve made getting here as easy as possible. Coach Stelma Softball Camps are conveniently located on the beautiful campus of the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) in Catonsville, Maryland; just an 8-minute drive from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
Whether you’re flying in from across the country or driving from nearby states, our campus is easy to reach with clear directions, plenty of parking, and helpful signage on event days. Below you’ll find detailed directions, campus maps, recommended parking areas, and tips to make arrival smooth for your family.

The Diamond at UMBC
The Diamond at UMBC serves as the home for the four-time (2019, 2021-23) America East Champion Retriever softball team. The Diamond at UMBC Stadium.

From the North: Take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (Exit 47B, Catonsville) or take Interstate 83 to Baltimore Beltway (I-695, West) to Exit 12C (Wilkens Avenue, West). Follow the signs to UMBC.
From the South: Take Interstate 95 to Route 166 (47B, Catonsville) and follow the signs to UMBC.
Getting to umbc softball stadium:
Coming from I-695: Proceed west on Wilkens Avenue to roundabout at Hilltop Circle. Take roundabout three-quarters around onto Hilltop Circle. Take a right at the traffic signal and proceed through one stop sign onto the outer loop.
Proceed through the next stop sign at Administration Drive and the stairways to UMBC Softball Stadium will be directly on the right. Proceed past the ticket booth and The Baseball Factory Field at UMBC to the UMBC Softball Stadium.
Coming from I-95: Proceed through one stop sign, then bear right onto the outer loop, going through another stop sign.
Proceed through the next stop sign at Administration Drive and thestairways to UMBC Softball Stadium will be directly on the right.
Proceed past the ticket booth and The Baseball Factory Field at UMBC to the UMBC Softball Stadium.
